A Month of Thanks - Day 11

I am thankful for the wonderful veterans of this country!

My Grandpa served in the Navy during World War II

on the USS Nashville CL43.

I have had the opportunity to hear him talk a little about his experience and it is definitely humbling. I am extremely grateful for all of the men and women who risk their lives to defend our country because I know that I wouldn't be able to do the things that they do!

Grand-dad Forsberg (Russ's dad) also served in the Air Force during the early years of his marriage and my sister's husband Sam is currently in the Coast Guard. Thanks to you all!
