Emergency Room Visit

Well we made it 3 1/2 years until we had to take one of our kids to the ER. Tonight Mallory was trying to get somewhere faster than her little legs could take her which is usually how she gets everywhere but this time the ottoman got in her way. She fell and her tooth cut just under her bottom lip all the way through. We took her to the ER and you would never know that she had ever been hurt (except for the blood oozing from her mouth). Russ even left to go help one of the doctors set a dislocated ankle because Mallory was so content (it was the hospital he is doing his rotation at right now). She was the life of the party and we couldn't get her to stop climbing on the bed, running all over, swinging from the bed and saying weeeeee. It was quite hillarious... until the mean nurse put in her i.v. They gave her the medicine to knock her out and it didn't work, so they gave her more and it still didn't work so there we were holding down a screaming child so they could put 3 stitches into her tiny little mouth. Tomorrow we are leaving for Lake Powell so hopefully she is still able to have fun.
