Mason is very serious about his boat! He spent about 2 hours "preparing" the ropes before we left. Then once we got to the lake you could find him "inspecting" the rope that was anchoring the boat in several times throughout the day and night!
We drove over to Rainbow Bridge on one of the days and hiked up. I had never been there so it was a fun experience for me. The kids just thought it was hot!
The boat is always the best place to take a nap!
We also did lots of fishing!
What do you do with 27 people all packed onto a houseboat at night???have a marshmallow fight of course!
(yes that's my husband running from a 6 year old)
the air conditioning wasn't working on a couple of the nights so we decided to sleep in our boat instead. it actually made for quite a nice place to sleep.
On the day that we were taking the houseboat back into the marina we decided to stop and swim for a little bit. Russ got the idea to jump off the top so of course everyone followed suit.
All the kids loved it!
Mallory's favorite part was the tube riding. She likes to try and get people to fall off!
Reeslyn tried skiing again this year and did awesome! They finally had to let go of the rope because the boat was about to run out of gas cause she went for so long.
We love Lake Powell and especially love the time we get to spend with family while we are there. We feel very blessed to be able to go there each year for our family vacation!
