This will be the storm we tell our grandkids about...
It was a cloudy day kids but the clouds that came before the storm were like none other that I had ever seen...

it started to rain and with it came hail but not just any hail it was the size of golf balls! Which cracked the windshield of my van and put hundreds of little dents in it.
it broke windows, 5 to be exact
of course all the kids in the neighborhood took full advantage of the giant size ice balls!
It wreaked havoc on the pool
and all of our poor citrus that would have been ripe in January is now on the ground needing to be thrown in the garbage
more windows broke
and the roof started to leak
But in the end kids we were reminded of the Love that our Heavenly Father has for us by the beautiful rainbow in the sky. He will never leave us alone even in terrible storms kids!
I'm sure this story will get exaggerated over the years but for now this is no exaggeration folks, it was CRAZY!and to make the story to our grandkids even grander, leave a comment telling us what happened at your house.
P.S. Russ went and looked at the boat today and it got hammered too. It will need some new upholstery work :(

CRAZY!!!! This is all normal for us here in Kansas City... But in Arizonia.....wow! Glad your all safe.

You forgot to mention how INCREDIBLY COOOOOOL it was =) You have quite the mess...much to Emery's dismay...she was REALLY sad we couldn't be at gymnastics today. SInce she couldn't understand "cancelled" i finally just told her you had to leave. =)
Our house came our quite similar...although only 2 windows broken, but I was kind of hoping for 4...I mean they need to be replaced anyway.
That is WILD!!! You guys did have a storm. You even made News here. They showed pictures of Phoenix and we were all surprised. We have had hail and rain the past week here and it has been stormy but enjoyable storms. Not like that one. WOW!!
Nothing quite as exciting for me to report. It take an hour to get home from picking Lilli up at school and we couldn't see more than 10-15 feet in front of us at times. Not so much damage out here in Tolleson- we did get hail, but it was more gumball than golfball.
Wowzers for all of you guys though, my parents' house had some broken windows as well.
The worst of the storm missed our house...but my family and I were at 59th Ave and Peoria when it hit. My poor car has the scars to prove it. I agree, the best part was the beautiful rainbow, and I felt God's love for all his children too.
Yowza!! Yep, you got it good!! In another few weeks it will all be as good as new...literally, NEW!
Oh my heck! I didn't even hear about it. That looks like a really crazy storm, glad everyone is okay.

we got to miss the storm we were at Disneyland. Luckily our house was undamaged. I guess Anthem wasn't hit as hard.
